Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.1 for Pocket PC enables you to play digital audio and video files that are stored on your device or on a network. Using the Player, you can play both Windows Media and MP3 files on your Pocket PC.

Your mobile phone includes Windows Media Player Mobile, a program that plays music and videos. Windows Media Player Mobile can play media files that are stored on the mobile phone, as well as songs and videos that you stream from the Internet.

Windows Media Player Mobile also helps you organize your media files. After you save media file to your mobile phone, you can create playlists of both music and video files with Windows Media Player Mobile.

Windows Media Player Mobile gives you access to the following folders:
-My Music: Holds sound files downloaded to your mobile phone and any files that you add
-My Videos: Holds video files downloaded to your mobile phone and any files that you add
-My TV: Holds television programs downloaded to your mobile phone
-My Playlists: Holds the playlists that you create

Windows Media Player Mobile can play media files protected with Windows Media Digital Rights Management.
