Wavelog

Wavelog is a blogging client application developed for S601 mobile phones with following main features:
- Post text, image, audio or video to a Web log (blog) directly from the mobile phone using any type of available network (mobile phone or Wi-Fi network).
- Save draft for later posting, in the case there is no available network, or to allow selection of a network with larger up-link bandwidth (faster posting) or lower cost (for example a free Wi-Fi HotSpot compared to a mobile phone network). For data transfer cost details please refer to the network operator.
- Add hyperlinks, tags (labels), and external tags to your posts.
- Select blog category when posting.
- Edit previously published posts.

What makes Wavelog different from other mobile blogging clients?

- User's texts, photos, video and audio files are uploaded directly from a mobile phone to a blog and does not require to be stored on intermediate servers.
- Wavelog does not restrict users to a specific blog hosting provider, social network or an intermediate content aggregation. It permits a complete freedom of choosing or changing a blog hosting provider, or even installing own blog publishing system. It also allows combining multiple Web publishing platforms.
- A blog does not even have to be on the Internet, it could be on a local computer network and the content uploaded from mobile phones using Wi-Fi connections. This is ideal solution for for testing, using, teaching or demonstrating mobile Web publishing services.
- Wavelog is designed for performance and reliability, so it is coded in C++ programming language as a native Symbian OS6 application.
